LUXURY RESORT
Early Conceptual Design
An existing resort hotel was interested in expanding and creating luxury villas (hales) nested into the landscape with ocean views. Each hale was intimated sited into the specific part of the site for which is was located with several slightly different variations.
Each hale was designed to enter from above the hale into the node between the solid bathing and sleeping components. The views and focal points created by the architecture highlight the natural amenities both in the foreground and background while limiting views to neighboring hales with vegetative buffers.
