Masterplanning Package
Revisiting a previous Masterplan for a youth camp provided an opportunity to reimagine the camp spaces and functions. Creating an overall masterplan for each of three major centers of the camp allowed for a widespread and coherent impact. The nature of camp masterplanning is an evolution over time and as funding is received so this focus was to put into place a masterplan that could be achieved over several years and be successful at every stage of development up to the final expression.
In studying the existing cabins, several small renovations could be done to create a dynamic change in the function and efficiency. These included creating a central gathering space and providing individual storage for each camper.
